Mainely Printers was founded in 2015 in Portland, Maine. After working for corporate copier & printer companies the owners decided to branch out and remove the hassle of obtaining office equipment. In recent years the majority of printing companies have been acquired by major corporate entities, and the small businesses of Maine have become victims to their contracts. Mainely Printers is dedicated to providing the hard working people of Maine a simpler and more cost effective way to print, while offering a level of personalized service we all deserve.

I made the switch to Mainely Printers for 2 reasons. First and most important was because they made it so EASY! Second because they were cheaper than what I was currently paying and my old company couldn't compare. They have saved us a lot of money. What I like best about MP is they are always right there. They answer the phone every time I call no matter what time of day! I never have to leave a voicemail and wait hours for a return phone call and no matter what the problem is, they always have an answer for me. They fix everything right away. I never have to wait for anything. When your in a busy office all day it helps to have equipment that works properly and if something does go wrong with it, its resolved right away. Saves us a lot of time and headaches. I am also very happy with the fact that I don't have to order my own toner they just send it to me when I need. That's one less thing for me to worry about. Lastly I love the fact that I don't have overage fees!! That use to really annoy me that I had to pay monthly to lease the copier and then pay a monthly fee for how many copies I make. That was very frustrating. Kyle is the BEST!! He is so helpful when it comes to everything you will ever need! Mainely Printers is lucky to have him!!

I am the Controller for Community Health and Counseling Services (CHCS) in Bangor, Maine. I am also in charge of purchasing. One day I received a phone call from Mainely Printers and even though I knew that it was a cold call sales pitch, I answered the phone mainly because it was ringing. The gentleman on the line was pleasant and very respectful of my time then he entered into the sales pitch, which normally I stop at the first breath. This call was different and really not certain what made me listen through the whole pitch. My gut kept telling me that this sounds like a really good way for CHCS to save money and if they couldn’t, they would walk away. None of the other cold calls said that.
I pulled together all of our leased copiers and had no idea about the stand alone printers – how many or where they were. We scheduled a walk-through at all of our offices as well as our group homes and school so that Mainely Printers would be able to talk with users as well as get an understanding of how many and what the needs are.
After the walk-through, both they brought a couple of machines to give us a live demonstration and proposal. The savings over the course of the next 5 years was significant enough for CHCS to make the switch.
A couple of the attractive reasons other than cost savings are: the same invoice each month, no overages, no difference between a color copy and a black & white one, as well as inter-changeable toner/ink cartridges.
CHCS plans to continue with Mainely Printers as they have delivered what they said they would. Yes, we have experienced some bumps during the install but they have been very active in getting things corrected or helped with work-arounds.
